Outreach, communication and inclusion efforts to make marine science accessible and inclusive is core to my mahi and journey as a Women in STEM

I am particularly interested in outreach to youth groups, and students from year 0-13, encouraging participation in science, inspiring experiential learning, and changing the narrative on who can be a scientist and what a scientist looks like.

I am passionate about supporting inclusive STEM events and look forward to partnering with local schools and groups to create connections and build networks in the science communication space. 

I am particularly interested in creative mediums and using art and design to deconstruct complex science to make science more accessible and share science with our communities.
